![]() ![]() I notice that you are incredibly helpful on this forum My question is, do you think it is advisable to leave them on onedrive? ![]() I have just completely re-installed windows and macrium and only just noticed today that for some reason reflect stored them there! I also have my definition files on one drive. Then back in Reflect, click the green icon with a plus sign to import a definition file and add back the definition files at their new location, then recreate the schedules.īy mpooley - 17 February 2020 11:35 for that reply I was just looking for that info and found it here. Then when they've been "unregistered" from Reflect, move the actual XML files themselves wherever you want to store them, keeping in mind that especially if you're using encryption, they should be stored in a secure location - which is why Reflect defaults to storing them in your user profile folder that by default isn't accessible to other (regular) users. Then still in Reflect, choose to remove the definition files themselves, but uncheck the option to delete the corresponding XML file on disk. If you want to move them, go into Reflect, select the Backup Definition Files tab, and edit the definition files to remove all of your schedules. You don't have to delete the definition files to move them, but if you have any scheduled backups associated with them, you will need to recreate those, because those tasks call the definition file at its path, so they'll break if the path to the definition file changes. The default location is in your Documents folder under a subfolder named "Reflect". I look forward to your esteemed feedback. Of course it would be even better, if I could move the existing files to the new location. ![]() I want to use a location on a local drive (C: or DĬould you indicate how to accomplish this. ![]() By default Macrium locates the backup definition files in a certain location, which in my case happened to be on OneDrive. I am almost sure this question has been asked and answered on several occasions already, but I have not yet found the thread. ![]()
